FAQs

A digital signature is a combination of two things:

  1. Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)
  2. Token/Dongle/USB Device

Now this DSC is issued by the Government of India corresponding to the PAN and Aadhar Card of the Person. This is an encrypted file which is then downloaded into tokens. This Pendrive like looking device is not pen drive but a secure password protected hardware.
So DSC downloaded into tokens is called a digital signature.

Class 3 DSC is the highest level of paperless signature where in authorities take video e-kyc to know the client. It represents the highest class of Digital Signature Certificates.
