What is digital signature?
A digital signature is a combination of two things:
- Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)
- Token/Dongle/USB Device
Now this DSC is issued by the Government of India corresponding to the PAN and Aadhar Card of the Person. This is an encrypted file which is then downloaded into tokens. This Pendrive like looking device is not pen drive but a secure password protected hardware.
So DSC downloaded into tokens is called a digital signature.
What is class 3 DSC?
Class 3 DSC is the highest level of paperless signature where in authorities take video e-kyc to know the client. It represents the highest class of Digital Signature Certificates.
Is it safe to use digital signature?
Yes, it is totally safe to use digital signature. Your DSC is password protected. So always keep that USB Token with yourself. Mostly CA Handles Digital Signatures so people keep their DSC with CA putting trust in them.
How can I use my Digital Signature?

Which type of DSC is used in Auctions?
Class 3 sign only is used for participating in auctions.
Submit photos of PAN Card, Aadhar Card, E-Mail, Mobile Number & Photo. A video e-kyc will complete the process and DSC will be issued.
